Nettles are so versatile, and so good for us, raw or cooked, either way. Especially healthy for women! although very good for anyone. Another one: raspberry leaves, although I have not yet tried cooking with them. But they are powerful yet gentle medicine for women.
Speaking of rice, Joyce mentioned wild rice the other day – technically a grass as she said – which I am really excited to find & try out. I’m going to try to find some organic at Healthy Way & scatter some in the very damp areas near me & see what happens. It should grow like crazy – I hope – especially with the torrential rains. An interesting experiment I’m looking forward to! 🙂
