    Tentative date for wild edibles workshop

    Firstly, I want to apologize for the length of time it has taken me to put this together. With my move this year, trying to grow a few vegetables because a full garden was not possible, and now scrambling to get ready for winter up in Bold Point, things have been kinda crazy. Not to mention my promise to continue to work on Bob’s truck. Have you seen his truck lately? Amazing! 🤗 That project has been the most fun I’ve had in quite some time 🙂

    Anyways, I am thinking August 17th or 18th, which is NOT a weekend, but this is probably the best I can do. The afternoon, somewhere around 3PM? Trying to plan around the hottest part of the day, just in case.

    Can I please get a count of how many people would be able to attend one of those days?

    I could do Aug 18th, Thursdays are my days off! Thanks for organizing this Sandra I’m sure you are very busy!

      Thanks for letting me Know, Suzanne 🙂 And you’re welcome. It’s been a while since my actual teaching days, so hopefully it all goes smoothly.

      I’ve been thinking that it might be a good idea to have a workshop on creating a basic home ‘ herbal medicine cabinet’ stock using plants. as well. Stuff for bites, stomach issues, headaches, coughs & flus or bronchitis, wound healing etc. Basic first aid which can prevent doctors visits, long hours waiting in the emergency room & so on.

      This would include salve making, tincture making, basic cough syrup making, infusing honey / oils / vinegars etc. But in order to do that, people will first need to know which plants to look for when harvesting.

      Let me know if you’d be interested in that. Likewise for anyone else. Fall would probably be the best time to do this.
